Vail Mountain is a great place to enjoy a hike, with trails starting from the base areas and trails starting from the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola. Vail Golf Club. Celebrating 46 years of golf in the Vail Valley. Nestled at the base of the Gore Mountain Range in the Rocky Mountains and , this Vail golf course presents golfers with a unique 18-hole, par 71 experience at 8,200 feet elevation. Colorado Ski and Snowboard Museum. Come enjoy interactive exhibits illustrating the history of Vail, skiing and snowboarding, and the 10th Mountain Division. The museum is open daily in the summer from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is located in the upper level of the Vail Village parking structure. Adventure Ridge. Located at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, Adventure Ridge at Vail has fun activities for all ages at over 10,000 ft!
